Doug L. Rees

Board Member

DL (“Doug”) Rees Contracting LLC started 40 years ago with a F-150 pick-up truck and a bag of hand tools. Doug retired last year building multi-million-dollar custom homes. Along the way he picked up a University of Washington MSCM (Master of Science Construction Management) degree, and 30 years of sobriety through his work in Alcoholics Anonymous. Doug understands firsthand that ‘people first’ businesses succeed. Patrick and Doug have shared this philosophy since first meeting in 1975 at home and on the football field. Doug is proud to help Patrick launch a successful ‘people first’ recovery mission for the homeless and addicted – the ArchBridge of Doug’s life.

Doug is also involved in other 501c programs including: Alcoholics Anonymous; Catholic Community Services/St Martin de Porres Homeless Shelter; KA Johnson Carpenters Scholarship Fund; University of Washington Hospital Fund for Low Income; Northwest Kidney Center; and of course, charity starts at home.
